At Olympic, we believe in organic farming because it\u2019s good for everyone.
\nIt\u2019s good for our cows and for you.<\/p>\n

In addition, it allows our local farmers to get more involved in their work and our farmers to stay passionate, knowledgeable and committed.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Our grassfed cows are treated with good care<\/h2>\n
\n

We carefully select each farm that produces our fresh, milk because we know that a grassfed cow gives great milk.<\/p>\n

Our cows feed outside during the warm seasons to soak up the sun and socialize! They have a diet composed of 75% forage (grass, clovers, vegetables, and other green plants) rather than a diet based on corn and soy\u00b9,<\/sup>\u00b2.<\/p>\n

Our farmer friends deeply care about the health, the well-being and the happiness of their cows. Not only do they pamper them, but they all know them by their names, like Phoebe, a happy cow who lives at Nature Glen Farms in Abbotsford, BC.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

It\u2019s better for nature<\/h2>\n

Organic farming is better for nature. Our dairy farms are smaller, allowing us to practice sustainable agriculture on a human scale. This way, it\u2019s a lot easier for us to promote biodiversity, protect water quality in our communities and prevent soil erosion and runoff simply by grassfeeding our cows.<\/p>\n

The grass from our pastures that feeds our cows helps to reduce runoff. The grass roots help maintain soil health and thus, keep carbon dioxide underground and out of the atmosphere. We can breathe cleaner air in addition to enjoying the great taste of our organic yogurt made with milk from grassfed cows.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
